Christmas With JAM

In the final months of 2020, we made a Christmas album: "Christmas With JAM". The album featured a wide variety of songs and styles, ranging from"Frosty The Snowman" as an 80's rock ballad to an original calypso, titled "Under The Mistletoe". We had a great time composing, arranging, and performing this music with each other. Sometimes we were in a studio, and other times, we were in a shed. In total, "Christmas with JAM" sold 63 hard copies, along with streams on Spotify, Amazon Music, and Google Play/YouTube. JAM can't wait to do another project like this.

JAM Camp

In the summer of 2021, we taught a music theory camp for 4 weeks. Weeks 1 and 3 focused on teaching kids (in grades K-8) the fundamentals of music. These weeks included talking about beats, notes, and other song components. Weeks 2 and 4 focused on applying what we had learned in order to create a project. The projects that we made were a book, a song, a Boomwhacker concert, and a short musical. The camp was held at Spotlight Studios for the Performing Arts, and it ran opposite Spotlight's summer shows, allowing parents to sign their kids up for a full day of theatre and music. JAM hopes to continue teaching music to anyone who wants to learn about it.
